Florida observes Arbor Day on the third Friday of January as the best time to plant trees in Florida. In honor of Arbor Day, the City of Clermont and the Clermont Garden Club will host the Annual FREE tree seedling giveaway on Saturday, January 20, 2018. The giveaway begins at 8 a.m. and will last until all seedlings are gone. The event will be held at Lake Hiawatha Preserve, 420 N. 12th Street/CR 561.
