Clermont Garden Club
Serving the community through the beauty of gardening since 1948.
Objectives established to meet CGC Goals:
- The goal of this garden club is the education of its members and the community in their relationship to horticulture, conservation, environmental needs and the art of floral design.
- To further the education of members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, botany, floral design, landscape design and environmental awareness through the conservation of natural resources, civic beautification, preservation and nature studies.
- To instill in our youth and community the love of gardening and respect for and protection of the environment.
- To not discriminate on the basis of gender, age, religious affiliation or ethnicity.
Clermont Garden Club meets 9 times a year.
The General Meetings are held at 10am on the 3rd Wednesday of the month from September through May (outings may affect scheduling).
CGC Garden Walks and Flower Shows get the spotlight but trips to nurseries, plant sharing, holiday decorating and other activities keep gardening going all year round.
Clermont Garden Club supports Wekiva Youth Camp, SEEK, and Head Start.
Donations as well as free educational programs are just some of the ways Clermont Garden Club gives to the community.
