Clermont Garden Club members Mary Adams and Gwen Carter attended the RHS Chelsea Flower Show on May 26, 2018. The RHS Chelsea Flower Show was from May 22 – 26, 2018 in London, England.
Themes for the 2018 RHS Chelsea Flower Show were “Environment and Mental Health. ” Designs demonstrated how gardens help us tackle environmental problems like sustainable materials including plastic. Chelsea Flower Show also showed how flowers and green spaces can have a positive impact on our lives, something that is very familiar to Clermont Garden Club members.
Enthusiastic flower lovers came from near and far to view the magnificent floral arrangements, spectacular gardens, and hardscapes. Designers for the Flower Show came from all over the world. An elaborate waterfall garden was designed by a Japanese designer who participates in the Flower Show each year.
Thousands of people strolled through the grounds enjoying all of the beautiful designs.

- Local businesses decorated their buildings with fresh flowers in honor of the Chelsea Flower Show.
- The Bailey Hotel, our London hotel, provided a special menu in honor of the Chelsea Flower Show.
