The Clermont Garden Club provides a different plant to display at the Cooper Memorial Library throughout the year. This month’s plant was provided by Tina Worrell, pictured with Liam Wagner, Assistant Librarian.
The plant is a succulent which is a drought resistant, and in which the leaves, stem or roots have become more than usually fleshy by the development of water storing tissue. There are many different species in more than 25 plant families of succulents.
